At GNBJM, The Hospitality Committee consists of men and women committed to the

ministry of HELPS. Helps simply means one who gives assistance. The committee is charged with meeting and greeting visitors and all who enter our doors with the love of Jesus Christ. The committee is also responsible for conducting outreach activities, sponsoring events that welcome new members, and promoting fellowship throughout the organization under the direction of the Pastor's Wife, First Lady Gaines.

Offer hospitality to one another without grumbling. Each one should use whatever gift he or she has received to serve others faithfully administering God’s grace in its various forms……..1 Peter 4:9-10

Mission
The mission of the Hospitality Committee is to provide extravagant generosity and hospitality and reach out in dedicated service with the welcoming spirit of genuine inclusion to all who enter into the doors of Greater New Birth Jerusalem Ministries with love and faithful service. We are to be generous so that others see God through us, offer our prayers, presence, gifts, service and witness for Christ’s work in the world. Foremost, our mission is to continually be equipped with the WORD of God to exemplify the gospel with grace.

Vision
Our vision is to make a significant contribution to the pastoral plans, visions and missions ordained by God. Our vision includes building a welcoming and inclusive faith community for all. As Stewards, the Hospitality Committee will reflect agape love to generate an open, welcoming, and flexible environment as we respond to God’s call to meet the needs of others and not only be hearers of the word, but also be doers of the word while being empowered by the Holy Spirit.
