Dr. Robert L. Cook
Scholarship
This Scholarship was established in 2005in honor of Dr. Robert L. Cook.  There have been 7 scholarship recipients. Dr. Cook was a man of faith. He was the co-founder and former pastor of New Birth Jerusalem Church of God in Christ (COGIC) in Clarksville, TN; which is now called Greater New Birth Jerusalem Ministries.   Dr. Cook was an Army Veteran with four combat tours, (1-Republic of Korea and 3-Vietnam). In 1974, he retired as an honored Sergeant Major of the US Army.  Dr. Cook established a reputation for excellence in the armed service as well as the minister of Christ.  He was often compared to the Apostle Paul of the New Testaments.  Most of all he was a friend of Jesus and loved all souls.  Dr. Cook departed this Earth in 2003.
